As a UAB School of Medicine alumnus and Chair of the UAB Department of Anesthesiology, I am excited about the many innovations and advancements that we as a department, school and institution are developing. Our three-core mission of excellence in patient care, research and education creates an exciting environment to work and to train. Each day, we work together to advance the discovery of new knowledge - with the goal of improving care for those in our city, state and nation.
To keep you updated on what the Department is doing, we have launched this blog, The Scope. It is a place for us to let you know what is going on with our faculty, staff, trainees and alumni, update you on new programs and initiatives and keep you posted on our research activities.
